Possibilities, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the ability of people to create change in their communities.
We do this through the values of trust, dignity, and service, by engaging with people in their communities and giving them communication tools, leadership training, and a wide variety of other skills and methods to allow people to work together to achieve community change.
Dating back to 1996, Possibilities, Inc. has been involved in community change in Oklahoma City for over 25 years. 

 

In the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, when people had to be physically separated, we faced a challenge -
How does an organization connect people when they can't be in the same place?

Our director, Byron Jackson, adapted to this challenge by hosting live streams and other events through Zoom. 
He realized that we can still use technology to connect with each other even when we're not in the same space.

From that foundation, he started the Breaking Ice, Building Bridges Community Podcast Platform. Through Possibilities' mission, our goal as a podcast platform is to give people the ability to connect with each other through podcasts and establish their own communities. Through these connections, people are strengthened in their ability to create community change.

Our head of podcasts, Santiago Ramones, has been podcasting since 2016 through his own podcast, Bit Depth, and has been producing podcasts with Possibilities, Inc. since 2022. With the help of Peaches and former-producer, Jaz, we've been able to start 25+ podcasts and publish 600+ episodes through our community podcast platform.
